Woman demands, and is granted, eye for an eye retribution in acid splash case.

It’s about damned time.  I hope this is a wake-up call to anyone, irregardless of gender, race, religion, etc, who feels they can harm another person and not be punished.

Castration.  Firing squads.  The hangman’s noose.  If punishment were swift, and matched the crime, I honestly believe that our crime rate would go down.  Stop coddling criminals.  They gave up their human rights when they took away the human rights of another.

13 y/o has baby with 15 y/o – in UK

What the hell is wrong with a society that not only doesn’t see anything supremely wrong with a 13 year old CHILD having sex, and subsequently a CHILD, with a 15 year old CHILD, but also KNOWS their country has a problem with it, citing (per London’s The Times) – “in the past decade more than 40 other boys aged under 14 had fathered children.”

Also, per the article..

The UK has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in Western Europe — 385 girls under the age of 14 became pregnant between 1998 and 2007.

You people need a check-up from the neck up.

Training for Iditarod more important that health of dogs

W.T.F.

You’re whining because you cannot train your sled dogs right now, due to a volcano about to spew ash all over your ass.  You’re putting off moving your 200 dogs to a safer spot, not because of any hassle, which I’m sure is quite considerable, but rather the inability to continue TRAINING them.

W.T.F.

By the way, if the volcano spews as much ash and attitude as is expected, guess what?  THE IDITAROD WOULD LIKELY BE CANCELLED / POSTPONED!

Asshats.

Ok, so I’ve not been feeling well lately.  This leads to me spending more time horizontal than vertical, which means a lot more movies than usual.

I’ve never dropped acid but I imagine that if I had, THIS is what my trip would be like.  The movie is somewhat bouncy, going from live-action to cgi and back, sometimes so fast that you almost get whiplash.  I’ve not made up my mind as to whether I like the movie or not, but it’s worth a look-see.
